Dr. Ralph R. Garramone Attends Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Symposium In Miami
Ralph R. Garramone, M.D., FACS, a board certified plastic surgeon practicing in Fort Myers Florida has attended the 45th annual Baker Gordon Educational Symposium held in Miami, Florida February 10-12th, 2011.
The focus of this year's meeting is 'The Transformational Effects of Volume Addition in Aesthetic Surgery'. As cosmetic surgery evolves it has become clear that surgical contouring alone has its limitations and further enhancement can be obtained with a combination of volume augmentation. The combination of surgical contouring and volume addition provides results which are not possible with either procedure individually.
Dr. Garramone is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has attended this symposium frequently over the last 10 years. Dr. Garramone practices in Fort Myers, Florida and has been using injectable fillers as well as fat transfers to provide volume augmentation in patients who have volume loss as a consequence of aging.
Dr. Garramone performs facelifts tailored to the individual patient using short incisions when possible to achieve the most natural results. Dr. Garramone also performs breast augmentation surgery using limited incisions and both silicone and saline implants.
"The importance of providing volume restoration to patients seeking rejuvenation of the face and body by using injectable fillers or body fat was emphasized at this important 3 day meeting. In the future there will be a greater understanding of the role of stem cells to enhance rejuvenation and restoration ", said Dr. Garramone.
