Some packs may contain pieces of grit that became embedded within the sweet potatoes when they were harvested from the soil. The affected product is only available in some Tesco stores in Ireland. McCain Foods are issuing a press notice and in-store notices will be displayed requesting customers who have bought this product to dispose of it. No other products are affected by this recall.
No action is required by official agencies.
