This year’s SIAL exhibition sees Kerry promoting its expanded range of food service brands, demonstrating its breadth of innovative food and beverage solutions for the current and future needs of the food service industry.

“The Kerry stand has two application areas, one covering culinary and savoury and one for sweet and beverage applications”, explains Sophie Vérot, marketing manager for Kerry Foodservice. “Chefs will use simple recipes to demonstrate the different product ranges we offer, and the use of our multiple technologies to achieve great results.”

Exhibiting at SIAL 2010 as Kerry brands are:

• Ravifruit – specialists in high quality fruit purees for pastries
• DaVinci Gourmet and B-ravi – providing syrups, sauces and fruit frappes for the coffee shop market
• Aromont – the specialist in culinary solutions, such as sauces and marinades, for savoury applications
• Kerrymaid – providing cheese and UHT products for the dairy market
• Margetts – creating sweet and fruit sauces, toppings and fillings for the hotel, restaurant and café market
• Aptunion – provider of candied fruits for the bakery and confectionery market.

“SIAL 2010 is the first time we have showcased all our food service brands under the Kerry umbrella”, comments Sophie. “These well-established food service brands each offer innovative packaged solutions to meet customers’ unique challenges – with each brand offering specific products for each food service application.”

Bringing the brands together under the Kerry umbrella follows the recently introduced ‘One Kerry’ strategy, where customers now have one point of contact for the full range of Kerry food service products, application teams and broad range of technologies. Previously customers may have been dealing with a number of Kerry subsidiaries for their product requirements, so by drawing all of its food service offerings into one dedicated organisation, Kerry is providing a more effective way of working with its customers.

“Our ‘One Kerry’ strategy helps food service manufacturers get new product offerings to market more quickly and at optimal cost – whatever it takes to stay one step ahead of their competitors”, concludes Sophie.
