Green Markets: NuEarth Wins Nigerian Contract

(NUEC.PK), a maker of environmentally friendly products and technology, said that its laboratory and research division "TerraSolv SA" has received final approval for phase four of their long term contract representing an additional $1.1 million laboratory service contract with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and their subsidiary the Integrated Data Services Limited.
The company said that, under the contract, TerraSolv will continue developing complex environmental models for ongoing reclamation projects over the next year for NNPC and IDSL.
TerraSolve SA is a development and testing lab that collects data from clients around the world to run project simulations ranging from usability, capacity, spread and weather modeling testing.
The laboratory's core platform consists of a 225-gigabyte database of environmental and agricultural project records running on six HP and two Novell servers storing the data and running the modeling software.
Pennsylvania-based NuEarth offers a range of biodegradable, environmentally friendly products and technologies meant to substitute for hazardous chemicals commonly used all over the world.
