Two Mom Entrepreneur Networks Join Forces to Offer Work-at-Home Moms Entrepreneurial Support

Stay-at-home moms starting businesses is nothing new - from the early days of home parties to the modern face of work-at-home outsourcing and consulting, entrepreneurship amongst moms is (pardon the pun) big business.

What is new is the amount of support and resources now available to work-at-home moms and that's about to get even better as two powerful mom entrepreneur networks join forces. Entrepreneurial Moms and MOMeo Magazine are joining forces in supporting moms in building work-at-home businesses.

Stay-at-home moms starting work-at-home businesses is nothing new. Following in the footsteps of Mary Kay home parties and the Avon lady, modern work-at-home moms are starting businesses of every type - from solopreneur consulting practices to multi-million dollar product companies.

What is new is the amount of support and resources that are now available to work-at-home moms and a recent partnership of two powerful mom entrepreneur networks is about to make that even better. Entrepreneurial Moms and MOMeo Magazine are joining forces in supporting moms in building work-at-home businesses.

Founders Christie Schultz and Carla Young are thrilled about the new partnership because it brings so much synergy together.

"Joining forces just makes sense from both a business perspective and in terms of the value we deliver to our members," says Carla Young, Founder & Publisher of MOMeo Magazine who launched the publication as a resource for work-at-home moms.

"Christie has created an incredible sense of community among mom entrepreneurs who are looking for support and kinship. Entrepreneurial Moms complements what we're doing online by taking the networking connections and support one step further with their local chapter meetings and events."

The need for support is a real one. Besides the new mom panic that goes along with any new baby (child or business), the statistics facing new small businesses is staggering with only half surviving to year five. The difference between success and failure often comes down to mentorship and access to educational resources.

"Getting support in the early stages of business is critical," says Christie Schultz, Founder & CEO of Entrepreneurial Moms who launched the network to create community amongst moms in business. "We see our new members coming to meetings with so many questions and worries, and after talking with our veteran mom entrepreneur members, you can see the sense of relief on their faces."

Schultz and Young promise there are big things afoot for the new partnership. Besides rolling out a new brand and a more unified web site, Schultz and Young are wasting no time in finding ways to leverage their new synergies to benefit members.

"Watch for new local chapters in cities across North America, Australia, and Europe. Additionally we're launching a Global Membership servicing mom entrepreneurs who are geographically not close to a chapter, physically challenged, on extended travel, or otherwise operating their businesses via virtual resources almost exclusively, says Young. "To complement the membership programs we also also will be rolling out more training programs for members for every stage of business development."
