New release tops Blockbuster's game rentals

July 14, 2010 -- Crackdown 2 edged out Red Dead Redemption to take the top spot in rentals at Blockbuster for the week ending July 11.

Red Dead Redemption appeared in the top 10 twice, with the Xbox 360 version taking the No. 2 spot while the PlayStation 3 version was only a couple slots back at No. 4. Crackdown 2 is an Xbox 360 exclusive.

The rest of the top 10 is as follows:

3. Super Mario Galaxy 2 - Wii
4. Red Dead Redemption - PS3
5. UFC Undisputed 2010 - X360
6. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction - X360
7. UFC Undisputed 2010 - PS3
8. Transformers: War For Cybertron - X360
9. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 - X360
10. Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 - Wii
