Print Media: Derycz Scientific Inks Sales Rep Agreement
July 7, 2010 (FinancialWire) — Derycz Scientific, Inc. (OTCBB: DYSC) said that its subsidiary Reprints Desk, a provider of scientific literature licensing and re-use for life sciences customers, has entered into a sales representative agreement with Copyright Clearance Center, a not-for-profit organization that is a provider of copyright licensing solutions.
Under the terms of the agreement, Reprints Desk will serve as an authorized sales representative for Rightsphere, the only CCC-validated rights management tool for accessing current and complete CCC license data and re-use permissions.
According to Derycz, the deal allows joint Reprints Desk-CCC customers to be provided with additional customization and workflow integration options, helping to simplify copyright compliance with respect to their re-use of licensed content.
The agreement also helps simplify compliance for customers' knowledge workers by integrating rights management capabilities into information retrieval workflows, according to the company.
Copyright Clearance Center is a provider of licensing solutions designed to allow corporations, universities, law firms and government agencies to use and share published information.
Reprints Desk is a business software and information company.
California-based Derycz Scientific develops companies, products, services and systems that facilitate the re-use of published content.
