March 8, 2010 (FinancialWire) — Federal Signal Corp. (NYSE: FSS) has completed its acquisition of Sirit Inc. (TSX: SI) (OTC: SRTTF), a Canadian provider of radio frequency identification technology, TODAY announced that Federal Signal has completed the acquisition of Sirit.

Last month Federal Signal entered into a second amendment to its definitive arrangement agreement with Sirit, calling for Federal Signal to acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Sirit for cash consideration of $0.46 per share. This was an increase of $0.16 per share or 53% over an original cash consideration announced on January 14.
