Leggett & Platt Declares 26 Cent Dividend
February 26, 2010 (FinancialWire) — Leggett & Platt’s (NYSE: LEG) board of directors has declared a dividend of $.26 per share for the first quarter, a 4% increase versus the dividend the company declared in the first quarter of 2009.
The dividend will be paid on April 15, 2010 to shareholders of record on March 15, 2010.
Missouri-based Leggett & Platt designs and produces a range of engineered components and products found in homes, offices, and automobiles.
The company’s products include components for residential furniture and bedding; components for office furniture; drawn steel wire; automotive seat support and lumbar systems; carpet underlay; adjustable beds; and bedding industry machinery for wire forming, sewing and quilting.
