February 25, 2010 (FinancialWire) — Yingli Green Energy Holding Co. Ltd. (NYSE: YGE), a Chinese photovoltaic manufacturer, said it has signed a three-year framework agreement with Gehrlicher Solar AG to supply 285MW of PV modules to Gehrlicher over a three-year period through 2012.
Yingli said it expects that the PV modules to be supplied by under the agreement will be installed mainly in residential, commercial roof-top and ground-mounted power plants across European PV markets.
China-based Yingli Green Energy holds the brand Yingli Solar. The company develops, manufactures and sells photovoltaic modules to a range of markets, including Germany, Spain, Italy, Greece, France, South Korea, China, and the United States.
Germany-based Gehrlicher Solar AG is a photovoltaic company acts as both a system integrator and a wholesaler of PV products and systems. The company has 204 employees in two locations in Germany, with subsidiaries in Italy, Spain and Greece.
