Stallkamp, the former chairman, retired from the Matthews board after the close of the company’s recent shareholders’ meeting.

Turner has been a director of the company since 1999 and has recently served as the chairman of the Matthews board’s compensation committee. He was formerly chairman and CEO of Copperweld Corp., a manufacturer of tubular and bimetallic wire products, until his retirement in 2003. Turner currently serves on the board of Allegheny Technologies.
