Florida auto accident lawyer alerts- an Orange County, FL crash caused fatal and critical injuries. Orange County, FL (News)—A motor vehicle collision (MVC) involving a pickup truck and a car left two people dead and two others critically injured on Tuesday night, February 9, 2010. The two-vehicle crash occurred on Clarcona Ocoee Road, according to information provided by the Orlando Sentinel. Officials from the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) allegedly reported a 1995 Honda, driven by 29-year-old Damien Edwards, traveling south on Hiawassee Road. Edwards seemingly attempted to switch from the left lane of the roadway to the right, but overcorrected upon realizing a vehicle was already traveling next to him in the right-hand lane, subsequently causing him to loose control of his car. The Honda consequently veered into the northbound lanes, slamming into an oncoming Chevrolet pickup truck at approximately 8:55 p.m. The pickup was being driven by 36-year-old Wallace Livingston at the time. Emergency medical services (EMS) crews seemingly responded to the scene to transport the injured head-on collision victims to area hospitals for treatment. Unfortunately, Edwards and his passenger, 17-year-old Terrence Pender, suffered injuries that proved fatal at the scene of the accident. Livingston and another Honda passenger, identified as 15-year-old Summer Flowers, were allegedly transported to a hospital after suffering critical injuries in the wreck. Investigations by Florida Highway Patrol troopers are underway. Legal News Reporter: Sandra Quinlan- Legal News for Florida Auto Accident Lawyers.
