December 16, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Alliant Energy Corp. (NYSE: LNT) has promoted Patricia Kampling to executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer.

Kampling will take on an expanded financial role as well as additional corporate strategic planning activities.

John Larsen has been promoted to senior vice president for Generation. In addition to oversight of generation, Larsen’s responsibilities will be broadened to include several generation-related duties. He will also continue to report to Harvey.

Both Kampling and Larsen are headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin. The appointments will be effective on January 1, 2010.
