November 20, 2009 (FinancialWire) — United Technologies Corp.’s (NYSE: UTX) Carrier Corp. unit’s Automated Logic controls business, a designer and manufacturer of control systems for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, lighting and energy management of buildings, has acquired Logical Automation, Inc., an independent controls contractor.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Farmington, Connecticut-based Carrier is a provider of heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions, with operations in more than 170 countries.
