Seaton Named COO At Fluor
November 10, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Fluor Corp.’s (NYSE: FLR) board has elected David T. Seaton to the newly created position of chief operating officer.
Company chairman and CEO Alan Boeckmann said that all five of the company’s operating business groups will report to Seaton along with Project Operations, a unit formed earlier this year to bring greater efficiency and support to the company’s projects.
Seaton joined Fluor in 1984. He most recently served as senior group president with responsibility for the company’s energy and chemicals, power, and government groups as well as for Fluor’s activities in China and the Middle East.
Irving, Texas-based Fluor is active in the fields of engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, operations, maintenance and project management. The company has offices on six continents.
