Dulaney Named CEO Of Merged Siemens Unit

c-level_225px-w_bwOctober 2, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Siemens AG (NYSE: SI) has appointed Daryl D. Dulaney as president and CEO of the newly-formed Siemens Industry, Inc, the U.S. affiliate of Siemens’ industry sector business.

Dulaney joined Siemens as a sales engineer in 1979, holding several key managerial positions, ranging from joint venture management in Hong Kong to senior vice president of field operations, North America, before being appointed president and CEO of Siemens’ building technologies unit in 2005.

The new unit, Siemens Industry, will merge the company’s existing energy and automation, transportation systems, building technologies and Siemens VAI services units.

Since 2007, Siemens has been globally aligning its businesses into the healthcare, energy and industry sectors. Siemens Industry will provide its U.S. customers in the fields of industry and infrastructure with integrated automation technologies as well as industry-specific solutions.

The unit will have more than 30,000 employees in 480 locations across the country, and will consist of divisions covering industry solutions, industry automation, drive technologies, building technologies, mobility and OSRAM Sylvania.
