Brandt Named CFO Of Arbinet
September 29, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Arbinet Corp. (NASDAQ: ARBX) (Current Market Cap: $52.58 Mil.) has appointed Gary G. Brandt as its chief financial officer, effective October 1. He succeeds John Wynne, who is stepping down from that post.
Brandt most recently served as CEO of Stirling Power, a private renewable energy solutions firm and before that, as CEO of Solomon Technologies(OTC: SOLM), a power supply and electric drive technology company.
From 2005 through 2007, he served as VP of corporate development at SatCon Technology, a renewable energy technology company, where he completed a follow-on public equity offering.
Brandt served from 2001 through 2005 as CFO of Toronto-based Hydrogenics, a renewable energy company. For the first 20 years of his career, he served in various financial capacities in the telecommunications industry with increasing responsibilities for companies such as Nortel and MCI.
New Brunswick, New Jersey-based Arbinet is a provider of international voice and IP solutions to carriers and service providers.
