DePaola, a former John Galt Corp. abatement subcontractor foreman, stands accused of seven Clean Air Act violations for work completed at the State University of New York New Paltz campus, after improper removal reportedly left employees covered in toxic asbestos. DePaola did the work for Milestone Environmental Services as a senior asbestos supervisor. As noted in the report, DePaola was charged last year in connection with a fatal fire that occurred at the former Manhattan based Deutsche Bank building in 2007.
