Textron Prices $600 Million Of Notes

September 16, 2009, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) has priced its public offering of $600 million of notes, comprised of $350 million of 6.20% notes due March 15, 2015 and $250 million of 7.25% notes due October 1, 2019. The closing of the offering is scheduled to occur on September 17.

The company plans to use the net proceeds from the issuance of the notes for general corporate purposes, which may include the repayment or repurchase of certain debt, including the repurchase of outstanding debt securities issued by Textron and its Textron Financial unit in the separate cash debt tender offers previously announced by Textron.
