TelVue Releases Version 3.6 Pinceton Digital Broadcast Server Software

September 15, 2009 (FinancialWire) — TelVue Corp. (OTCBB: TEVE) announced the release of version 3.6 of their TelVue Princeton digital broadcast server software.

According to TelVue, the version 3.6 software release contains significant improvements and several new integrated workflow features that will assist community and hyperlocal television stations maximize the value of their TelVue Princeton broadcast server.

With the new integrated Audio Level Normalization feature, users can choose to adjust audio levels within the MPEG files to a specified value (in dBFS) during the content import process. According to a company representative, the Audio Level Normalization feature minimizes the common issue of airing community contributed programs with significantly different audio levels. This feature supports a default setting to normalize files to the Alliance for Community Media’s recommended audio standard of -12 dBFS.

TelVue Princeton version 3.6 also includes an integrated MPEG File Repair feature. When a user imports an MPEG file that contains a common technical fault, such as a timestamp error, the MPEG File Repair utility will automatically repair the file. The 3.6 software release will also allow users to monitor in real-time, the status and history of each of the repair and normalize background tasks. This latest software release also enables users to export their broadcast server program schedule directly to the popular TV Guide X-List format at the push of a button.
