September 14, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Video game publisher SouthPeak Interactive Corp. (OTCBB: SOPK) (Current Market Cap: $24.75 Mil.) has named Reba McDermott to serve as its interim chief accounting officer. McDermott’s appointment coincides with Andrea Jones’ departure from SouthPeak as CFO.

Prior to joining SouthPeak, McDermott served as the chief financial officer of OuterNet Management, a data center services company based out of Austin, Texas. McDermott has worked at various public and private companies, including Corning, Aspyr Media, and Silicon Laboratories.

Midlothian, Virginia-based SouthPeak Interactive develops and publishes interactive entertainment software for various hardware platforms.

SouthPeak has additional offices in Grapevine, Texas and Leicester, England.
