China In-Focus: Winner Medical To Ramp Up Production
August 28, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Winner Medical Group Inc. (OTCBB: WMDG) said it has entered into a contract with a machine producer in China to purchase a new production line for the company’s nonwoven cotton medical dressing products.
According to Winner, the new machineries will constitute the fourth production line of its PurCotton brand products, and will be installed and operated in the company’s subsidiary in Huanggang. Production is scheduled to start production in the second quarter of 2010.
Winner said it currently services orders for 150 tons per month of its product from clients in China, the United States, Japan, and other countries.
Shenzhen, China-based Winner Medical is a manufacturer in the medical dressing industry with seven wholly owned manufacturing and distribution facilities, four joint-venture factories and over 5,000 employees.
The company engages in the manufacture, sale, research, and development of medical care products, wound care products, home care products and its PurCotton, a nonwoven fabric made from natural cotton.
