Elderly SUV driver dies after striking Ford head-on in Prescott.

Prescott, AZ--A head-on collision on Wednesday, July 15, 2009, left one person dead and three others seriously injured. The tragic head-on accident occurred around 5:30 a.m. in Northern Arizona, as reported by the Northern Arizona News. According to Prescott accident investigators, the driver of a Toyota Highlander, identified as 76-year-old, John Franzen, was traveling southbound on Willow Creek Road when he wandered into the northbound lanes of Willow Creek Road. Franzen then reportedly crashed into a Ford passenger van in the northbound lanes.

The driver of the Ford van, Harold Lenzini, 59; and his passengers, Norton Zimmerman, 59, and James Gary, 41 were all seriously injured.
