Graphic Packaging Sells $245 Million Of Senior Notes
June 17, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Graphic Packaging Holding Co.’s (NYSE: GPK) Graphic Packaging International, Inc. unit has closed a private offering of $245 million of its 9.50% senior notes due 2017.
The company said it expects to see around $238.4 million from the offering, after deducting the original issue discount. The proceeds from the offering will be used to refinance, through a tender offer, $225 million of the company’s 2011 notes in connection with the cash tender offer and to pay any applicable early tender premiums and offering expenses.
Marietta, Georgia-based Graphic Packaging International is a provider of packaging solutions for a range of products to food, beverage and other consumer products companies.
The company is a producer of folding cartons and holds a market position in coated unbleached kraft paperboard, coated-recycled boxboard and specialty bag packaging.
