Livneh Named CEO Of Magal Security Systems
June 3, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Magal Security Systems, Ltd. (NASDAQ: MAGS) (Current Market Cap: US$47.25 Mil.) has appointed Eitan Livneh president and CEO, effective August 2. Livneh will replace Yoav Stern, who is working in the capacity of acting president and CEO of Magal during the interim period following the departure of the company’s former CEO.
Livneh joins Magal from Tadiran Telecom, an Israel-based telecommunications company, where he served as president and CEO. He was previously president and CEO of Elgo Irrigation, and prior to that, a general manager at Packer Plada Group.
Israel-based Magal is a provider of safety, security, site management and intelligence gathering and compilation. The company’s portfolio of infrastructure and site protection technologies includes smart barriers and fences, fence mounted detectors, virtual gates, buried and concealed detection systems and a protection package for sub-surface intrusion.
