June 3, 2009 (FinancialWire) — F.N.B. Corp. (NYSE: FNB) said it has named Stephen J. Gurgovits as its president and CEO, effective immediately. Gurgovits, who is currently the company’s chairman, has been serving as interim CEO since February 2009.

The company’s board plans to appoint a new chairman by the company’s annual reorganizational meeting of the board in June.

F.N.B. also promoted Vincent J. Delie, Jr. to executive vice president and chief revenue officer and Brian F. Lilly to EVP and chief operating officer. Lilly also serves as chief financial officer for F.N.B.,

Delie also serves as president of the banking group for First National Bank of Pennsylvania.
