On Sat. June 13, TONY CURTIS and two of his most beloved movies - HOUDINI and SOME LIKE IT HOT (50th ANNIVERSARY) - will launch the series at the Million Dollar Theater.

World famous Star TONY CURTIS will be celebrated at the Million Dollar Theater (307 S. Broadway, L.A.), on Saturday, June 13, as the Jules Verne Festival and the Los Angeles Historic Theatre Foundation bring you THE MAGIC OF TONY CURTIS, with iconic star himself in attendance.

A spectacular presentation of HOUDINI movie will feature, before the screening, Escape-Artist that medias have called the "Modern-Day Houdini": Curtis Lovell II (www.curtislovell.com). He will attempt live on stage Houdini's water torture escape as a tribute to Tony's incarnation.

Billy Wilder's masterpiece SOME LIKE IT HOT return to the big screen, in the magic setting of the legendary newly restored Million Dollar Theater Broadway theater as we will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the timeless comedy starring Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon.Tony Curtis will autograph his new biography, 'American Prince: A Memoir' and will accept the Jules Verne Legendaire Award for the 50th Anniversary of SOME LIKE IT HOT.

It is the fourth installment of the once-in-a-lifetime series of "JULES VERNE LEGENDAIRE AWARDS" events (Blade Runner, The Birds, 2001 : A Space Odyssey, were the first ones), involving Red Carpet Extraganza, Surprise Events, Glamorous Stars and much more !
