Trenton, NJ(JusticeNewsFlash.com)--Trenton Police Department traffic homicide detectives continue to investigate a fatal motorcycle versus pedestrian accident that happened on Saturday about 7:15 p.m. As reported by Philadelphia Daily News, Gary Aust, a 49 year-old Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania resident was riding his motorcycle down a Trenton, New Jersey, street when he hit and killed an 86 year-old pedestrian, Russell W. Rackinson of Trenton. According to Trenton police, Aust, was speeding down the street when he struck Rackinson with his motorcycle, crashed into a pole, and killed both himself and Rackinson. Trenton area emergency medical personnel say the elderly man died instantly from the fatal injuries he sustained when the speeding biker hit him. Aust was thrown from the motorcycle after he hit Rackinson and slammed the bike into a utility pole. Aust was transported to Capital Health System at Fuld Hospital in Treton. He died about three hours later from his critical injuries. Preliminary investigative motorcycle wreck reports reveal Aust just left a local bar before hittiing the innocent victim with his bike.
