A witness disclosed at the trial of W.R. Grace & Company that the company sold land tainted with asbestos. As reported by Bloomberg.com, the witness Lerah Parker, is quoted as stating after learning of the health risks to a friend, “I said, ‘I want you to tell me honestly as my friend: In selling us the property, did you know -- did you know this was going to happen to us?’ And Alan just looked at me, put his cup of coffee down, and he left. And I knew he’d been lying to us all this time.”
