MedClean Technologies Receives $1 Million Order
The MedClean system includes dual sterilization units, capable of treating three million pounds of RMW annually, as well as a volume reduction shredder. The system will enable the customer to launch a service line providing an economic RMW treatment and processing alternative to Stericycle for the island's healthcare industry, according to MedClean.
MedClean added that the customer will gain the added capability to effectively address confidential document destruction on the island.
Bethel, Connecticut-based MedClean Technologies provides technology and services for the onsite treatment and disposal of regulated medical waste. The company's MedClean Series systems are designed to enable hospitals and other healthcare providers to convert bio-hazardous regulated medical waste into sterile, unrecognizable material suitable for disposal as municipal solid waste.
