Toth Named Underwriting Chief Of Harleysville Insurance

Toth joined Harleysville in 2005 as vice president, associate general counsel and chief litigation counsel. He was named senior vice president of claims later that year. Prior to that, he was an attorney in the litigation department of the law firm of Reed Smith LLP in Philadelphia.

In his new role, Toth will be responsible for leading Harleysville Insurance's commercial lines underwriting and product development operations. Toth will continue to report to Michael L. Browne, Harleysville's president and chief executive officer.
