Aidmatrix Partners with Children International to Enhance Relief to Impoverished Children Worldwide

DALLAS, TX (MMD Newswire) March 31, 2009 - The Aidmatrix Foundation Inc. today announced its partnership with Children International, a nonprofit humanitarian organization dedicated to bettering the lives of impoverished children, their families and communities. This partnership will help automate the donations that Children International distributes to their supported agencies worldwide. The Aidmatrix Network gains another valuable partner in globally expanding the humanitarian relief supply chain.

Children International achieves their goals primarily through their signature community centers. At these centers 5,000 - 7,000 children are targeted to receive basic health care, including dental, nutritional aid, educational support and other key initiatives to help the child become a self-reliant adult. Children enter the program as young as two and graduate at 19. Funding for this whole-child approach is primarily through individual child sponsorship, which unites children in need with individual sponsors. The sponsorship program currently benefits more than 320,000 impoverished children and their families through 80 communities' centers in 11 countries throughout the world, including Chile, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Mexico, the Philippines, the United States and Zambia.

Children International President and CEO James Cook states, "At Children International, we always look for ways to make our programs run as efficiently and effectively as possible. The key to a successful product donations program is moving items to where they are most needed as quickly as possible - and get them in the hands of a poor child. It's about getting the right pair of shoes, or the right book to the right child at the right time. Aidmatrix is helping us do that, and we are very excited about the partnership."

During their last fiscal year, Children International distributed donated products with an estimated value of more than $45 million through their agencies around the world. They estimate that these donations have benefited the lives of more than half-a-million children and their families.

Through this partnership, Children International will use the Aidmatrix supply chain management technology to manage their daily donations management processes. In addition, Aidmatrix brings more potential donors and recipients to the community through its partnerships with other leading disaster-, medical- and hunger-relief organizations.
