DALLAS, TX (MMD Newswire) March 30, 2009 -- The Aidmatrix Foundation, Inc. today announced its partnership with the State of North Dakota, as they joined the National Donations Management Network Program (NDMN), powered by the Aidmatrix Network®. The NDMN is a national relief coordination system funded by FEMA, the UPS Foundation, Accenture, and other partners of Aidmatrix to better manage unsolicited donations and volunteers. It connects governments, donors and Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD), at the National, State and local levels. Through web-based tools, paperwork is reduced for processing donations and allows for easy information sharing.

North Dakota's web portal on the NDMN will help to coordinate relief efforts in times of disaster, such as the recent floods, between the North Dakota office of emergency services and the nonprofit relief agencies on the frontlines. Nonprofits can post needs onto the system for donors to view and fulfill. Donors respond to the needs, for a more efficient supply chain of giving that reduces unneeded goods.

The NDMN now covers 78% of the U.S. population and connects 38 U.S. States and territories with hundreds of relief organizations. These States are prepared before a disaster strikes to create an effective flow of relief to the people in need. The Network is streamlining relief efforts with technology and relationships just like the supply chains used within the for-profit world.
