Solutions4Solar’s Community Homes Solar Program for the City of Banning and the San Gorgonio Pass Exceeds Aggressive Renewable Energy Goals

California (MMD Newswire) December 10, 2008 -- Solutions4Solar, California’s No. 1 developer/brokerage firm, announced today that we have exceeded our initial aggressive renewable energy goals for the City of Banning and the San Gorgonio Pass.

We offered the communities of Banning, Beaumont, Calimesa, Cherry Valley and Cabazon the ability to turn their communities into solar communities to help America with energy independence and in eight short weeks 34 residents purchased 105kW’s.

So far, 22 residents in the Sun Lakes Country Club community have purchased solar electric systems.  This will be the largest concentration of solar electric systems to date in the Inland Empire.

The program was based on a special pricing plan conceived by Solutions4Solar. The Community Homes Solar Program group rate was a result of a competitive RFP process, bringing the price of solar power in the City of Banning and the San Gorgonio Pass down to $7.71 per watt from its previous pricing of $9.50. This resulted in a savings of more than $5,000 for the average 2.8 kilowatt installation.

Because of the overwhelming popularity of this program, we have been able to extend this fabulous pricing until December 31st, 2008.
