The book outlines what happens to George as he undergoes the process of mitosis, or separation that creates two identical cells.
Author Sharifian was inspired to write the book after witnessing the confusion in his seventh-grade science class over cell structures. “Mitosis is not as difficult to understand as it initially seems,” Sharifian explains. “Learning its processes in baby steps makes it much easier to understand.”
