Classic Alaska Charters DVD wins 3 Telly Awards and 2 Emmy Awards
Seattle, WA (MMD Newswire) February 9, 2009 -- Classic Alaska Charters, Ketchikan Alaska, announces it's company promotional DVD has recently been awarded 3 Bronze National Telly awards, was nominated Jan 2008 for 5 Regional Emmy awards, and was recently awarded 2 Regional Emmy awards.
Keven Strehle of SMG Productions, Seattle, was hired by Captain Rob, Classic Alaska Charters to produce and deliver a direct marketing DVD for promoting its Alaska adventure charters. After a week of filming aboard the Saltery C with Captain Rob, and hundreds of hours of editing, Keven, knew he had something special and began the application process for the Telly and Emmy awards.
The feature length DVD program first aired on King 5 TV's popular travel program "Northwest Backroads" in the winter of 2007. After excellent reviews, Keven Strehle submitted the DVD program for both the Telly awards and Emmy awards with hopes for some level of recognition of his excellent work. The judging concluded recently and Keven Strehle of SMG Productions, announced the addition of the 3 Bronze Telly awards and 2 Emmy awards to his list of awards and achievements. Captain Rob is proud to work with SMG productions and for the awards received for the Classic Alaska Charters promo DVD.
