Marver Named CEO Of Cardiac Science
Marver will become CEO and replace Hinson on the Cardiac Science board, effective March 31.
He joined Cardiac Science as its COO in October of 2008. Prior to joining Cardiac Science, Marver spent 14 years at Medtronic, where he held a number of senior leadership positions, including vice president of strategy and business development, VP of sales, VP of marketing, and VP of product strategy.
Marver also spent three years at Medtronic's international headquarters, where he led commercial activities for Medtronic's Cardiac Rhythm Management business in Western Europe.
Bothell, Washington-based Cardiac Science develops, manufactures, and markets a line of diagnostic and therapeutic cardiology devices and systems, including automated external defibrillators, electrocardiograph devices, cardiac stress systems and treadmills, Holter monitoring systems, hospital defibrillators, and cardiac rehabilitation telemetry systems.
The company also makes and sells cardiology data management systems that connect with hospital information, electronic medical record, and other information systems.
