Meyers Named Science Chief At Revlon

March 12, 2009 (FinancialWire) -- Revlon, Inc. (NYSE: REV) has hired Alan Meyers as its executive vice president and chief science officer, effective January 1, 2010. Meyers will assume leadership of Revlon's worldwide research and development functions, succeeding Neil Scancarella, Revlon's chief science officer since January 2000.

Scancarella is scheduled to retire in December of 2009.

Meyers has spent his career in cosmetics research and development in positions with Avon, Elizabeth Arden and L'Oreal USA, serving most recently as senior vice president of research and development and consumer affairs for L'Oreal USA.
