DONKEY AND ELEPHANT APPEAR OUT OF THIN AIR TO CREATE VOTER AWARENESS

NEW BEDFORD, MA - You think party politics is tough? Try getting an elephant and donkey to work long hours together in the same space. They have to get along. And in New Bedford, MA, they made magic history. They were on a tight rehearsal deadline; all in an effort to get out the vote for what may be an election for the history books. "I wanted to do something really special for the upcoming election and to use my magic to motivate and empower voters" says Lyn Dillies. Ms. Dillies (www.magicoflyn.com) has performed from Lincoln Center to Hollywood as America's Premier Female Illusionist. She's a lifelong voter inspired by her dad's example; and just wants to give something back to her country that has given her so many wonderful opportunities.

Lyn Dillies recently premiered her new trademarked illusion at the Buttonwood Park Zoo in the fabled fishing port city of New Bedford, Massachusetts. The theme was that You Don't Have To Be A Magician To Create Change, Get Out and Vote! To frame her latest feat during what could be one of the most widely anticipated presidential elections of the century; Ms. Dillies created and organized a grassroots voter information and registration public service campaign - Your Vote Is Magic! The event is part of a public service campaign that is delivering the message - Freedom Is Not an Illusion - Vote! Eligible voters were encouraged to attend the Your Vote Is Magic event with their children in tow to teach them about the magic of one person's vote.

When Lyn was asked about preparing for the illusion she replied, "Rehearsals were so much fun. Abner the donkey kept talking about healthcare while Emily the elephant kept talking about cutting taxes!"

On August 27, Lyn made a prediction of who will win the presidential election by what margin. Her prediction was notarized and placed in a clear tube which was locked in a box. The box was then placed in an alarmed 2008 Ford Mustang which has been on display at the zoo ever since. On November 5, the car will be opened, and her prediction will be read.
