NEW WAY FOR CONSUMERS TO USE TRAVEL DISCOUNTS

WEST PALM BEACH, Florida - Computer Travel Companion, Inc. has unveiled a new web based system that will permit consumers to access travel related discounts in entirely new ways. The system will provide value to consumers, credit card issuers, affinity groups (such as AAA or AARP) and vendors.

The new system, called Computer Travel Companion(TM) "will revolutionize the travel related discount business" said Bernard R. "Robin" Baker, III, President of Computer Travel Companion.

At the present time, consumers desiring to use discounts and travel related offers they are entitled to because they hold particular credit cards or belong to particular groups must make a phone call, leaf through a thick book of offers, search through reams of offers on various web sites or maintain a stack of cards or flyers that they receive in the mail. "This entire system is backwards," says Baker. "The consumer needs to drive the process. The consumer needs to be able to go to the internet (or to his travel agent) and say 'I'm going to San Francisco on November 25th. I'll be there until the 29th. What special offers am I entitled to (because of the particular cards I hold or groups I belong to) at that particular time for restaurants? Hotels? Air fare? Attractions? Computer Travel Companion will answer those questions, thereby empowering consumers to access and use discounts in ways they never have before, and enabling vendors, card issuers and affinity groups to reach their customers in ways they never have before."

Computer Travel Companion commissioned a market study to test the viability of the concept. The study showed that overwhelmingly large numbers of consumers find it very difficult to use the special travel discounts and incentives to which they are entitled, and showed that significant numbers of consumers would be willing to pay to participate in a system like Computer Travel Companion.

"In addition to providing value to consumers," says Baker, "Computer Travel Companion will also provide significant value to credit card issuers and affinity groups. The system will ensure that the consumer understands that the discount that the consumer is accessing is available to him or her because of a specific credit card or a specific affinity group membership. This will reinforce in the consumer's mind the value of holding that particular card or group."

Baker has obtained and holds two patents that protect the operating system known as Computer Travel Companion.
