Harvard Business Review Launches "Fuel Your Performance" Microsite for UK Professionals
BOSTON--Harvard Business Review, the leading magazine of management ideas, has launched a new microsite, www.hbrlondon.org, created for managers in the United Kingdom.
"Fuel Your Performance," Harvard Business Review's first microsite developed for a specific market, brings together some of the magazine's most popular articles on performance and leadership, as well as exclusive interactive tools and video. The site is free with registration.
The site provides strategies and tools for getting more accomplished on the job, managing more effectively, and avoiding burnout. Highlights include: "Manage Your Energy, Not Your Time" by Tony Schwartz and Catherine McCarthy, "What Makes a Leader" by Daniel Goleman, "Overloaded Circuits: Why Smart People Underperform" by Edward M. Hallowell, and "What Great Managers Do" by Marcus Buckingham. Registration includes a 21-day site pass to Harvard Business Review online.
The site's interactive tools include "Are You Headed for An Energy Crisis?" a 16-question quiz that assesses personal energy management skills, and the "Strengths Engagement Track," which assesses how well managers play to their strengths on the job.
The UK is the magazine's largest English-language market outside of North America.
The site is the online companion to a series of live events Harvard Business Review and editor Thomas A. Stewart will be hosting in late October for advertisers, readers, and academics in the London area. More information about the events can be found at www.hbrlondon.org.
A related special newsstand issue, Peak Job Performance, will go on newsstands in November and be available throughout the winter.
Harvard Business Review, www.hbr.org, is the leading monthly magazine of management thought and practice. The magazine has a worldwide circulation of 248,000 and 11 international editions, including editions in China, Taiwan, and an English-language South Asian edition published in India. In 2004 and 2006, the magazine was a finalist for the National Magazine Award for General Excellence.
