McCallum Media Monitor chief to speak at Beijing Media Conference

Frank McCallum, founder and managing director of McCallum Media Monitor i set to speak at the first Media Monitoring conference to take place in Beijing 25 - 26 October.

McCallum will speak on the advances in media monitoring made possibly by digitalisation.

It is an exciting time in media monitoring with the capability now available to provide clients with an integrated, web-based package encompassing print, radio, tv and internet material.

Since buying out Press Information Scotland in April, McCallum Media Monitor has been concentrating on looking for more international clients and McCallum sees China as one of the biggest news-generating areas, with worldwide interest in Chinese energy, agriculture and politics, not to mention the vast amount of coverage being generated by the upcoming Olympics.
"China is on the front page and the back pages," said McCallum, "and McCallum Media Monitor is on the case."
The Beijing conference comes just a week before the scheduled launch of McCallum Media Monitor's new website at www.press-cuttings.com
