Alpine Air Express Moves to Train and Hire 25 New Pilots
PROVO, Utah--Alpine Air Express Inc. (OTCBB: APNX) announced that its operating subsidiary, Alpine Aviation, Inc., a leading provider of regional air cargo transport and logistics services, is planning to expand its Turbine Pilot Crew by training and hiring 25 new pilots by December 2008.
The Company's plan to train and hire the new pilot staff is necessary to support new routes that are being continually added, and the normal replacement of retiring pilots and the attrition associated with pilots who have been hired by major carriers. Alpine is adding pilots to support growth opportunities that management is pursuing, in addition to supplementing the reserve and standby pilot pool required to maintain the Company's excellent "on-time" performance record.
