Music Industry Veteran Finds Success with a Music Business Radio Show
Music industry veteran Joanne Ledesma is filling a niche bigger than first anticipated with her new radio show "The Music Shoppe with Joanne Ledesma".
Ledesma states "I knew the show would be popular for songwriters and unsigned bands globally, but I'm overwhelmed at the numerous requests I received from my peers who are ready, willing and able to share their knowlege as well."
Ledesma's show is loosely based on her book "Prepare Your Music-A Practical Guide to making your music marketable". The show includes live professional music critiques in multiple genres, celebrity interviews, Q&A, themed based lectures, contests and more.
"I aim to be a one-stop information center that can deliver a seal of approval for the leary. At the music shoppe you can learn "how to care for your guitar" from Elton John's & Carlos Santana's techs, Touring tips from members of Los Lobos or musicanship from Mike Albert (Megadeth), the shows are endless."
Ledesma is an A&R representative for Taxi Music, an Educator at Citrus College California, and is the president of Ledesma Music Publishing.
