WHAT: The UBS Global Alternative Energy Conference is an

- Monday, May 14: Michael Ware, Good Energies. Michael Ware is a
Managing Director at Good Energies, one of the largest investors
in alternative energy in the world with in excess of EUR 3
billion invested in public and private solar and wind companies.
Michael is also a founder and board member of the American
Council for Renewable Energy, the alternative energy industries
prominent trade group. Michael will speak about recent
investment themes in the alternative energy market.
- Tuesday, May 15: Representative Roscoe Bartlett, co-founder and
co-chairman of the Congressional Peak Oil Caucus and the Defense
Energy Working Group. Rep. Bartlett will speak about the
necessary transition from fossil fuels to alternative, renewable
sources of energy in order to combat the issues of global peak
oil, global warming and the threat to U.S. national and economic
security from increasing dependence upon imported oil. Rep.
Bartlett will also provide an overview of the current
legislative initiatives impacting alternative energy companies.
