Soapbox Building Best Team in Mobile
SAN DIEGO -- Soapbox Mobile, the full-service mobile marketing agency, is pleased to announce the addition of two key new members to its executive management team.
Vladimir Edelman, CEO of Soapbox Mobile stated, "We are pleased to have two people of such high caliber join us. They have a thorough understanding of the space and will enable Soapbox to expand our mobile marketing knowledge even further."
Kristen Fox, Vice President of Professional Services leads the mobile marketing strategies and campaign creative on behalf of Soapbox Mobile clients. Fox has over ten years experience directing integrated marketing and sponsorships across new media sectors.
Prior to joining Soapbox, Fox was Associate Director, Product, for Mobile ESPN Publishing. Under her leadership, the Mobile ESPN Publishing product group aggressively developed innovative ways to increase data adoption, stimulate customer loyalty and manage the product lifecycle for wireless content.
Fox's passion for marketing innovation began in 1996 while she was Director of Sponsorships and Integrated Marketing at Sony Digital Entertainment. During her six year tenure, she built one of the industry's most successful online sponsorship businesses, leveraging Sony's vast content assets from across Sony Music, Sony Pictures and Columbia TriStar Television to match consumer interests with advertiser objectives. After Sony, Kristen worked with The Sporting News to reposition and differentiate its competitive sales strategy.
In 2006, Fox served on the Board of Directors for the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA), and currently co-chairs the MMA Mobile Video & Television Committee.
Soapbox also announced the addition of Kevin Granath, the new Vice President of Sales & Business Development, who brings more than two decades of experience in sales and management at leading traditional and emerging media companies to the Soapbox executive team. He is responsible for revenue and the strategic direction of the organization's sales and partnership efforts.
Granath has been a leader in interactive advertising and marketing since 1995, when he began to build the interactive ad sales force for ESPN.com, ABCSports.com and the official league sites of the NFL, NBA, WNBA and NASCAR. Granath then built national sales forces for early-stage companies, including Cars.com and Apartments.com -- joint ventures of the NY Times, Washington Post and Knight-Ridder; and WindWire, one of the earliest wireless media networks.
Granath returned to ESPN in 2003 to start their Emerging Media Ad Sales group, where he was responsible for sales of all wireless, broadband, interactive television and video-on-demand products. Most recently, he headed global ad sales for ESPN's international TV, online and wireless assets.
Over the years, Granath has been very active in industry groups, including two terms on the Board of the Internet (now Interactive) Advertising Bureau. Granath started his career in television production, working with Howard Cosell at ABC Sports, during which time he won a national Emmy Award as an Associate Producer.
