Siemens New OpenStage Family of SIP Phones Win 2006 Product of the Year Award from Internet Telephony Magazine
BOCA RATON, Florida -- Siemens Communications, Inc. [NYSE: SI] today announced that its OpenStage family of Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) phones has won a 2006 Product of the Year Award from Internet Telephony magazine, a leading publication covering Internet Protocol (IP) communications technologies.
OpenStage phones can improve productivity and streamline workflow by integrating system-wide communications into the most-often used office device: the telephone handset. Available in four models, the phones provide cutting-edge features such as push-button conference calling and support of third-party applications such as Java, HTML and XML. Equipped with Bluetooth and a USB port, the phones include a touch-sensitive wheel, called TouchGuide(TM), that allows easy access to frequently used applications and features.
