The non-profit organization will be providing a safe house for survivors, along with the opportunity for healing and hope.

PHOENIX, ARIZONA, UNITED STATES, September 7, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Safe Haven Care Foundation is pleased to announce the launch of its new 501(C)(3) non-profit organization. Dedicated to providing safe housing, education, wholesome healing, and training to the underserved and the underprivileged. Safe Haven Care supports homeless veterans, children, and sex trafficking survivors, as well as children who have aged out of the foster care system.

“We’re here to help put an end to human suffering, and to help survivors begin the healing process,” says Safe Haven Care Foundation President Sharon Isaac. “Our mission is to educate, elevate and empower people so they can start to heal and live their lives to their fullest potential.”

Isaac adds that, “the organization is especially committed to help in the fight against sex trafficking, this is a horrendous crime that just steals your soul.” Sex trafficking, or human trafficking, is a crime that involves the exploitation of a person for the purpose of compelled sex or labor. The statistics surrounding this horrendous crime are startling. Although it’s impossible to give an accurate number of victims, it’s estimated that millions of people across the world are trafficked, most of whom are women, girls and boys. Shockingly, the average victim is 12 years old, over 50% of cases in the U.S. involve children, and three out of four are trafficked for the purpose of sexual exploitation.

“One of our goals is to provide a safe sanctuary for those who’ve been exploited in this manner,” Isaac continues. “We can help them with safe provisional housing, a sanctuary to heal, counseling, and job training. But we can’t do this without your help. Your support and donations are invaluable.”

Sex trafficking comes in all forms and classes: In the wake of the high-profile case in New York with R. Kelly, a witness testified during the trial that the R&B star forced sex acts on them, telling her “I'm a legend,” and that he likes a woman "who reminds him of a puppy, his daughter or his mom.” It all comes down to control, financial gains, and gratification.
