Penn National Insurance Elects Robert J. Powell to Board of Directors
HARRISBURG, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Penn National Insurance announced today the election of Robert J. Powell to membership of the board of directors of Pennsylvania National Mutual Casualty Insurance Company (dba Penn National Insurance).


Powell is CEO of Invictus Leadership Group, Pittsburgh, Pa., a Human Resources consulting firm specializing in human resources strategy, organization strategy, change management, talent management, executive recruitment, executive development and succession planning.
Board chair Stephen Swanson said: “Mr. Powell brings extensive human resources experience to our board of directors. His expertise and strategic perspective will be a valuable addition to our board especially at a time when all businesses face increasing competitive challenges.

Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
Powell earned a BA in organizational communications from the University of Central Florida and an MBA from Illinois State University.
