Pinnacle Bankshares Corporation Announces Cash Dividend

ALTAVISTA, Va., Feb. 13, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Pinnacle Bankshares Corporation (the “Company”) (OTCQX: PPBN), the one-bank holding company for First National Bank (the “Bank”), announced today that its Board of Directors declared a cash dividend of $0.14 per share on February 11, 2020 payable March 6, 2020 to shareholders of record as of February 21, 2020. 

The $0.14 per share cash dividend is equal to the $0.14 dividend paid last quarter and marks the thirtieth consecutive quarter a dividend has been declared.  Pinnacle previously released its 2019 and fourth quarter earnings on February 4, 2020 indicating record net income for 2019.

“We are pleased to maintain our cash dividend of $0.14 per share this quarter after reporting record earnings for 2019,” stated Aubrey H. Hall, III, President and Chief Executive Officer for both the Company and the Bank.  He further commented, “We have untaken a number of growth initiatives and are mindful of maintaining an appropriate balance between cash dividends and capital accretion through retained earnings to support our growth.”
